The role of nutrition in the development of MS and treatment of MS has been a topic of great interest for decades, but much is still unknown.

On July 23, 2016, EvergreenHealth hosted the third annual “Food for the Brain – nutrition and MS” workshop, sponsored by the National MS Society and pharmaceutical support. This annual workshop serves to answer questions about the latest research in nutrition that is relevant to MS.
It was attended by a packed house of patients and their  loved ones and included talks by Dr. Laura Piccio at Washington University, St. Louis, Dr. Ted Brown at the EvergreenHealth MS Center and dietician, Jan Rystrom, R.D. of the Evergreen Diabetes Education and Nutrition center.
